The Wild Thorny Rose, or Rosaceae Vularis, was an endangered species of plant.

The rose's growing grounds were drastically diminished over the years, but Pamela Isley managed to secure one last plant before it disappeared under the construction of the Stonegate Penitentiary.
Isley cultivated the plant, and extracted its toxin to poison District Attorney Harvey Dent, the initiator of Stonegate's construction.
