Wil Wheaton (born July 29, 1972 in Burbank, California) is an American actor and writer, best known for his starring role as Gordie Lachance in Stand By Me (with Jerry O'Connell), and as Ensign Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation, co-starring LeVar Burton and Michael Dorn.
