Vermin Vunderbar was one of Darkseid's highest-ranking lieutenants.
History
Following Darkseid's presumed death, Vunderbar attempted to seize control of Apokolips, but was battled to a standstill by Darkseid loyalist Granny Goodness. To shore up his position, Vunderbar kidnapped Darkseid's son Kalibak, traying to brainwash him intpo being his puppet. However, Granny blackmailed Mister Miracle and Big Barda (with help from the Flash) into rescuing Kalibak from the X Pit. Unable to stop them, Vunderbar decided to destroy the pit and kill them all, but they escaped while Vunderbar fled.
Upon Darkseid's return, Vunderbar reaffirmed his loyalty and aided Darkseid in his attacks on New Genesis and Earth.
