The Trident of Poseidon was a magical Atlantean trident.

History

King Poseidon used nearly all the mystical energy of the planet to forge the trident, the only weapon that could defeat the Old Ones. Poseidon was successful, but Atlantis sank beneath the waves as a result of Poseidon's actions.

Thereafter, the trident was borne by the sovereign of Atlantis.
