History

An unnamed group of Justice League heroes sent by Mr. Terrific to substitute for Superman at a parade but end up having to defend the city against the super soldier General Wade Eiling. None of these heroes had any innate superpowers, though several (Green Arrow, Speedy, S.T.R.I.P.E., and Stargirl) had access to advanced technology and one (Shining Knight) had magical weapons.

Background information

Writer Matt Wayne stated that the episode "Patriot Act" was a Seven Soldiers of Victory team-up, as it features all of the original members of the team in DC Comics. Stargirl, the second Star-Spangled Kid before she donned the Stargirl persona, effectively fills in for Sylvester Pemberton, the original Star-Spangled Kid. The only "member" of the original team missing was Wing, Crimson Avenger's sidekick, who aided the team at times, but was never considered an official member.
