The '''Temple of Athena''' was one of the many temples on the island of [[Themyscira]].

== History ==

It was in this temple that the goddess' armor was kept, waiting for the Amazon champion to win the right to wear it. The armor was still there when [[Diana]] felt compelled to travel to "Man's World" to fight against the [[Imperium invasion|Imperium's invasion]]. She entered the temple and took the armor without the [[Hippolyta|Queen]]'s permission.<ref name="Secret Origins">{{ep ref|jl|101}}</ref>

The temple was damaged during the Amazons' battle with [[Felix Faust]], but was subsequently repaired.<ref name="Paradise Lost">{{ep ref|jl|110}}</ref>
