Conjecture[]
- This character is announced as Shark on the Special Features of JLU Season 2, he is addressed as Shark and the portrait of his model is shown on the screen.
In light of this, I'd say the name passes from conjecture to canon. --BoneGnawer 03:17, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
- Sounds good. - NakedSamurai 06:47, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
- Definitely. Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to write a DC Animated Universe:Conjecture policy explaining the circumstances in which it is acceptable to use comics-based conjecture. Here it says we can use them on three instances. However, after this discussion, we have only been using #1 and #3. What I still wanna know if we are still using conjecture to catalog species names, and why. ― Thailog 09:28, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
- I have been including species names. You answered the "why" in the same discussion you referenced above...
- As for "Species" I also accept that we include those that are not stated on the show based on DC comics conjectures, since we already assume the species of every character on the show (nowhere it is stated that Harley Quinn, Robin, Lex Luthor are humans) because it's obvious, so it's only natural that for alien species we go to DC sources and assume they are the same in the DCAU, so it's no biggie if Kilowog is listed as being a "Bolovax Vikian" (although it's sort of irrelevant).
