I wasn't aware we had that list. Shouldn't that be on a separated article then? We could add pictures and all... ― Thailog 19:03, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Sounds good to me, though I don't think we need all the links that are present in the Question Authority article. I doubt there is very much if any info presented on screen for each of those subjects. --BoneGnawer 19:09, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
If any at all. Most are either cultural allusions or in-jokes. ― Thailog 19:12, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Video of the Assassination of President Luthor[]

I was under the impression that the video The Question saw was a simulation of Luthor's assassination, not the actual video itself.

  • There's no perceivable way anyone from the Justice League's universe could have attained a recording of that. Justice Lord Batman had only just discovered the means to view/travel between universes, and that was (as he admitted) mostly out of boredom. While it may be unfair to assume similar technology hadn't been discovered in the Justice League timeline, it's equally unfair to assume it had been, as there's no on screen evidence.
  • The video, then, was a simulation that Cadmus had diagnosed as the most probable course of events, since Luthor seemed headed for the oval office. The Question, having recognized this, set out to stop Luthor from becoming President and the Justice Lords from forming.
  • The simulation itself was based on the events Superman had described to the US Government in exchange for Luthor's pardon.

Honestly, when it comes down to it, I'm asking for a clarification here, as I'm not as familiar with many of the outside sources as you folks appear to be. It's a little thing, but this instance is one of the most important single occurrences due to the events that unfolded as a result.

...I can't believe I was that worked up over a little piece of information when there's so much other work to be done around here. - NakedSamurai 20:34, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Dwayne McDuffie confirmed that Justice Lord Batman gave the White House security tapes to our Superman, who in turn handed them over to our universe’s President. Also, notice that the dialog between Luthor and Superman is exactly the same from "A Better World", which would be highly improbable to match in a simulation. ― Thailog 20:50, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
I had noticed the dialog and agreed it was highly improbable, but was willing to write it off for a variety of reasons. However, confirmation of the tapes is more than enough for me. Thank you for clarifying. - NakedSamurai 06:43, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
