Yellow Impurity[]

- It is possible that the Power Ring possessed a flaw which, under certain circumstances, rendered it less effective against anything yellow in color. Generally, this did not prove to be a significant problem.
The yellow impurity was never mentioned in the DCAU, and most, if not all GLs shown were able to use their rings on yellow objects. This is probably because the first GL shown was Rayner, and his ring lacked the impurity, and in current comics, all GLs can overcome the yellow impurity. --BoneGnawer 13:06, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- Fair enough; there have been a very few occasions in JL/JLU where John's ring seemed to have a small problem with yellow (yellow gas on a couple occasions, the yellow jello in "Great Brain Robbery"). But then Kyle was able to face down Sinestro right out of the gate, on the other hand... Just trying to cover the bases; I tried to keep the wording vague here as opposed to the old-school 'due to a necessary impurity the power ring is unable to affect anything yellow' kind of thing. Definitely a fuzzy area. (My pet theory is that the DCAU GLs already know the 'you can get around yellow by overcoming fear' trick that the comic GLs have only recently figured out, but that's just me.:) )--ElScoob 15:19, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Picture[]
Might I enquire as to why the picture I placed on the page keeps getting removed by the Admin? It shows a power ring from Superman: TAS episode in Brightest Day, belonging to Abin Sur, but transferred to Kyle Rayner. This is to show a contrast in difference of design of the rings on this series and that on the sequential Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 石油頂鋒化 (talk • contribs).
