Early Suit Image[]
Could a screeshot that shows the entire suit be posted instead of this one? I believe, from the context that this is from Mask of the Phantasm, but I could be wrong. --BoneGnawer 01:48, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
Third and fourth suit[]
I respectfully submit the following hypothesis: the third and fourth suit are actually one and the same. It certainly explains Batman going back and forth between those two designs, doesn't it? So, I say the reason it looks different is because it's the character that has been redesigned (like, say, Superman getting a facelift between two Justice League seasons), and not Batman getting entirely new Batsuit, but occasionally still using the old one.
Another Batsuit[]
In the flashback that takes place in Robin's Reckoning, Batman is wearing a different costume. This one is like the regular Batman: The Animated Series costume with the blue highlights (as seen when Tony Zucco tries to run Batman over at his Uncle Arnie's house, but this costume also has a plain black bat emblem on the chest, not the bat symbol shield with the yellow background. You can see the symbol in the scene where Bruce is in diguise, playing dice in the alley. One of the guys grabs his arms from the back and it reveals the bat symbol on his chest. I'm not sure if this is just an inconsistency or if the animators/producers wanted to show Batman in a different costume to illustrate a change over time.
- There have been three pre-BTAS appearances of the Batsuit, afaik: the flashback in "Robin's Reckoning", the flashback in "The Mechanic" and the flashbacks from Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. In "Robin's Reckoning", the suit was specifically redesigned to reflect Batman's earlier career, but I'm not too sure on the others. -- Tupka217 20:17, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
- Definitely. The batsuit also received a slight redesign for Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman, which should also be mentioned here. -- Tupka217 21:13, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
