Sgt. Rock was a sergeant in the U.S. Army and commander of Easy Company during World War II.
History[]
Rock led his troops in the ill-fated invasion of Normandy. While out on recon, he saw John Stewart in action, and, upon finding a wayward Green Lantern lost, he decided to welcome him into Easy Company. Together, they took out an enemy gun pit and later an indoor airfield.
