For eighteen years, Grey did his work in silence, but he had ideas to revolutionize cost accounting. In fear of losing his job, he kept quiet. After visiting a seminar by the Guru and having a treatment by his associate, Grey finally stepped up to Bruce Wayne's office, but not to reveal his ideas. Rather, he resigned, and security had to drag him off the premises after he forced himself on one of the secretaries and tells her to call him.
