The SS Atlantic was a cruise ship.
History[]
When the Joker decided to distract Superman so he could can kill Batman in Metropolis, he transmitted a false signal of aid from the ships. Superman arrived in the ship, only to be told by the captain there was nothing wrong. At that point, a small boat with a bomb exploded to the side of the ship, causing a tear in the hull.[1] Superman used one of the lifeboats to plug the hole, preventing the ship from sinking.[2]
