Ron Glass (born July 10, 1945 in Evansville, Indiana - November 24, 2016) is an American actor. His best known role is that of Shepherd Book in Firefly; his co-stars Morena Baccarin, Nathan Fillion, Gina Torres and Adam Baldwin have also played in the DCAU, though considerably more than Glass. Glass was the only one who worked on the DCAU before playing in Firefly.
