Robert Hays (born July 24, 1947 in Bethesda, Maryland) is an American actor, producer, and director. His best known roles are the title role in Starman and Iron Man in various Marvel cartoons of the 90s. His other best known roles include the comedic heroic character of Ted Striker in the Airplane films (which the sequel co-starred John Vernon and David Paymer).
