Doris, known to her Elf-friends as Rainsong, was a Metropolis woman.
History[]
Rainsong was a Wiccan who owned a bookstore, The Dancing Hobbit. When the demon Karkull threatened the city, she offered her book lore to Superman and the SCU. When she proposed getting her coven involved to do incantations against the demon, Superman chose to get more powerful help instead.
Background information[]
Rainsong reappeared in the tie-in comic Superman Adventures #24, where she was revealed to be a former girlfriend of Rudy Jones.
