Professor Peterson was a geologist connected to the Lex Luthor Museum of Natural History.
History
Peterson was tasked with researching a radioactive alien rock for Lex Luthor. He expressed the opinion to research it further so it could be used by all of mankind rather than just Luthor. Luthor did not take kindly to that.
In discontent, Peterson eventually leaked information about the rock's properties to Lois Lane.
