Professor Ivo was an employee of LexCorp and the creator/"father" of the nanotechnological android Amazo.
History
While little to none is known about Ivo, Lex Luthor considered Ivo as one of LexCorp's best scientists. After Luthor was arrested and sent to prison, Mercy Graves became LexCorp's CEO, and decided to fire Ivo to save money.
Once, after managing to escape the Justice League, Luthor went to Lexcorp in hopes of getting Ivo to help him repair his suit and chestplate, which was keeping him alive. Mercy directed him to Ivo's estate, where Luthor found him dead and commented that "the cigarettes finally got him".
