President Stone was the current President of the United States during the Cadmus Crisis.
History[]
When Lex Luthor gained control of the Watchtower II's fusion canon and used it to fire on the main Cadmus facility, the President called J'onn J'onzz, demanding an explanation for the firing and destruction. J'onn maintained the Justice League's innocence, stating that an unknown force took control over the fusion canon, while the President expressed his disapproval over the League having the fusion canon in the first place, and admitted that he cut the League slack for saving the world many times over. He warned J'onn that his people were investing the incident, and if it turned out the League were responsible, the full might of the United States government would be coming down on them. Later, President Stone received a call from Amanda Waller, revealing that the facility that was destroyed was empty. Waller advised the President in the strongest terms to order retaliation. The blast (in her eyes) was clear retribution for kidnapping the Question, and the League and the government were officially at war. President Stone was reluctant to order retaliation and told Waller to stand by.
After Brainiac unveiled himself as the true mastermind, the League and Waller helped neutralize him. After Brainiac's defeat, Waller called the President, letting him know the threat had been dealt with and to call off the missile strike.

- Despite only being credited as "President" in the credits, he is given the last name Stone in Dwayne McDuffie's script for the episode "Divided We Fall".[1]
