Peri Gilpin (born May 27, 1961 in Waco, Texas) is an American actress and producer.

Background information
Born in Waco, Texas, Gilpin moved to Los Angeles and had a series of minor film and television roles, before she landed her best-known role, the sassy, man-hungry radio producer Roz Doyle on Frasier. Arleen Sorkin, who voices Harley Quinn, is married to the show's executive producer, Christopher Lloyd, and frequently worked behind the scenes, voicing the callers into Frasier's radio show during live tapings, before these lines were dubbed over by other actors.
In the episode "And Frasier Makes Three" of the last season, Roz starts seeing an ex-convict who has recently gotten out of prison. When asked about him, Roz says, "I don't know any guy who's not a little fascinated by fire". This may be a nod to the Justice League Unlimited episode "Only A Dream" (which aired about six months earlier), where Gilpin's character, Volcana, briefly teams up with Firefly after escaping from Stryker's Island Penitentiary.
Gilpin's other voice work includes Jane Proudfoot in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, various roles on King of the Hill, Professor Kate Corrigan in Hellboy: Animated (with Ron Perlman, Phil LaMarr, Jim Cummings, Rob Paulsen, Grey DeLisle and Cree Summer), Danny Phantom (also with David Kaufman, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, Rickey D'Shon Collins, Maria Canals and many others), and the goddess Hecate on Disney's Hercules, which also featured, as guests, her Frasier co-stars David Hyde Pierce and Jane Leeves.
