Hawkgirl

Hawkgirl wielding her Nth metal mace.

Transuranic iron metal, atomic number 676, commonly known as Nth Metal (pronounced En-th) is an element abundant in the planet Thanagar.

Description

The element has electrical and gravitational properties and can even disrupt magical energies. As such, weapons made from Nth metal are highly effective against spellcasters and anything made from magic. The Thanagarians incorporate Nth metal into all of their technology and weaponry.

Hawkgirl's mace, Hawkman's axe and Hro Talak's battle axe are made out of Nth metal.

In addition to disrupting various forms of magic, Nth metal is also capable of negating the abilities of ghosts.
