Mrs. Gibson had two daughters, the youngest being Max. Her marriage did not last, and her husband divorced. As a single mother, she worked hard and was away from home a lot, leaving Max and her sister to fend for themselves.
When Max was exposed to Spellbinder's hallucinogenic VR technology, she imagined her family together, giving her all the love she had missed for so long.
