The Monocle was a member of the Legion of Doom.
History[]
The Monocle was offered membership in Grodd's Legion of Doom and attended several meetings. He sided with Grodd during the mutiny against Lex Luthor, but Grodd's team was on the losing side and the Monocle did not survive the battle.
Background information[]
The depicted subject bears the likeness of Monocle from the DC Comics; however, the DCAU character was never named on-screen, or otherwise. The title of this article is conjecture based on the character's likeness.
Jonathan Cheval was an honest businessman who worked in the optical field. A criminal destroyed his business, so, Cheval started his revenge on everyone who helped destroy his business. Cheval designed and utilized an arsenal of special monocles that fired various energy rays and beams. He was a recurring opponent of Hawkman.
