Michael York (born Mar 27, 1942 in Fulmer, Buckinghamshire, England) is a veteran English stage, film, and television actor. His early film work includes Franco Zefferelli's Shakespearean films The Taming of the Shrew and Romeo and Juliet, and the ensemble cast film of Murder On The Orient Express. Probably his best-known work is Logan 5 in the 1976 film Logan's Run, and, more recently, as Basil Exposition in the Austin Powers films.
