Michael McKean (born October 17, 1947 in New York City) is an American actor, comedian, writer, composer, and musician. Perhaps best known for his role on the sitcom Laverne & Shirley, as well as a stint on Saturday Night Live. He is married to Annette O'Toole, who played Lana Lang in Superman III and Martha Kent in Smallville. McKean himself appeared in a few episodes of the show, playing Perry White.
