Michael Gross (born June 21, 1947) is an American actor. On television he is best known as Steven Keaton, the patriarch of the Keaton family on the sitcom Family Ties. He is also well known for his lively performances as gun shop owner Burt Gummer in the original horror-comedy film Tremors and its associated sequels and television series.
More recently, he plays the recurring character of River Baldwin on The Young & The Restless.
