Metallo was a metallic alloy developed by LexCorp and was, supposedly, indestructible. As a "reward" for his loyalty, John Corben had his consciousness transferred into a new android body made by Lex Luthor's scientists. It is unknown if the alloy was ever used in any other project developments.
