  • Why did you revert my edit to Frieda Goren? It was a stub, and I've seen the episodes I mentioned. It's obvious most of the guys are attracted to her

  • Hi, MerlinTheFairyFox. The image you uploaded to our database does not specify its source or licensing.

    • Source: You need to indicate where the image was taken from by using a {{filebox}}. In case of screenshots, and if you didn't grab them yourself, you need to acknowledge the site/person who did it. Also, please add a description of the screencap;
    • Licensing: If you have not created this media yourself, then you need to indicate why it can be used here. For this, you need to include the proper image copyright designation on the license field of the {{filebox}}. If you believe the media falls under the fair use doctrine, then consider reading up on it, and then use the proper fair use license (screenshot).

If you uploaded other media, consider checking whether you specified their source and licensing, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded here.

Note that it's your responsibility to properly credit the media you upload, and any unsourced and unlicensed image can be deleted if not correctly specified.

    Thank you.

  • Please take a look at the image policy.

  • Do not add section headers if you don't write a section with it.

  • The quotes section is for short, memorable quotes that do not require much context, if any at all. For esthetic reasons, Thailog and I agreed on 4-5 lines maximum. We don't need entire conversations (with very, very few exceptions). They're quotes, not transcripts.

  • Per our MoS, we use "Appearances" when one character was in more than one episode, and "Appearance" when they appeared in only one.

  • First, character pages don't have trivia.

Second... can you not write complete and utter bullshit? No nice way of saying it, sorry. Wikipedia's Jonah Hex article has an entire article on how he got the scar. I suggest you read it. It has nothing to do with Two-Face, and it looks nothing like Two-Face's scars (which was a full half of his face, and on the other side too).

    • Like Two-Face. Sure, it may be different but it has the same features as Two-Face. One side with a normal eye, one side with an enlarged eye, don't you think?

    • Two-Face's disfigurement is his entire face and part, if not half, of his body.

Jonah Hex's face is a mark elft by a burning tomahawk, and reaches from his lip to his eye.

  • You're not the first to come up with this. But no, we don't do a category for deceased characters.

    • Stop.

    • How come?

    • You're not the first. To give you a perspective, the category for "Deceased Characters" was deleted once and "Deceased" four times. That's not counting the times which people added the category but didn't make the category page.

We don't have a category of deceased people because the DC Animated Universe has a very long timeline, going from 10,000,000-ish BC to 3000-ish AD. "When" do people qualify as deceased? Jonah Hex and his friends are most likely deceased during the events of Batman: The Animated Series. And many people from Batman: The Animated Series will be dead in the time of Batman Beyond. And they'll all be dead in the 30th century when the Legion of Super-Heroes are around.

In our Manual of Style, we have a separate section on perspective: "Assume you are an omniscient inhabitant of the DC Animated Universe living at a point in time after all events in the DCAU have already occurred, and you are writing an encyclopedia entry." So the perspective is after the Legion is gone. Hence, everything is in past tense, and in this view, everyone is deceased.

To inform people as to who died on screen or were mentioned as deceased, we have this list.
