In an alternate universe, Lois Lane was a reporter for the Daily Planet who was killed in a car bombing staged by Intergang in an attempt to expose them.
History[]
Lois was killed while investigating Intergang for a story. Superman arrived a few seconds too late to save her. It was this event that led Superman to seek an alliance with Lex Luthor and take over Metropolis to eliminate crime. He didn't realize the mistake he'd made until a Lois Lane from another universe arrived and showed him what Luthor had done with his new position.[1]
