Len Wein (born June 12, 1948 in New York City, New York - September 20, 2017 in Los Angeles, California) was an iconic comic book veteran, best known for writing Swamp Thing and Wolverine, as well as his work on Batman, Human Target, Green Lantern and Blue Beetle. He contributed several stories to Batman: The Animated Series, including one based on his own story, "Moon of the Wolf".
