Justice League vs. the Fatal Five is a direct-to-video movie featuring the Justice League. It was released in 2019 as part of the DC Universe Animated Original Movies line. The movie used the animation models of Justice League Unlimited, whilst Kevin Conroy, Susan Eisenberg and George Newbern reprised their roles from the series.

Production Notes

The film's canonicity with the established DC Animated Universe is currently open-ended.[1][2] However, when asked about the matter during the WonderCon 2019, Bruce Timm responded that he indeed considers Justice League vs. the Fatal Five to be canonical with the rest of the DCAU.[3]

However, it should be noted, as director Sam Liu recalls, that the film was initially going to use Phil Bourassa's art style and animation models from Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths, a non-DCAU film part of the DC Universe Animated Original Movies, but this was changed to avoid confusion with the movies based on The New 52 comic continuity. The movie was changed to a DCAU-style Art-style later on in production, with many elements of the DCAU added in as well, potentially placing it in a version of the DCAU.[3]
