Cassidy has played the on-screen wife of characters played by Robert Foxworth on two different television series, Falcon Crest and Six Feet Under. Her other credits include the Oscar-nominated cult classic Blade Runner (opposite William Sanderson and Brion James), the Oscar-nominated Who Framed Roger Rabbit, the Wes Craven telefilm Invitation to Hell (opposite Kevin McCarthy) and Craven's dark comedy Vampire in Brooklyn (opposite Kadeem Hardison; interestingly, in the film, she also played a police captain much like her DCAU character Sawyer).
