John Marc DeMatteis (born December 15, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American comic book writer. He has had successful runs on Doctor Fate, Superman and Justice League of America, as well as several Captain America and Spider-Man titles for Marvel. His best known work is his partnership with Keith Giffen on Justice League International and its spin-offs, Formerly Known as the Justice League and I Can't Believe It's Not the Justice League.
