Background information[]

As an actor, he is best known for his starring role in New Jack City and for playing Detective Odafin "Fin" Tutuola on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Another notable film role was kangaroo warrior T-Saint in Tank Girl, alongside Don Harvey, Malcolm McDowell, and Lori Petty.

When Ice-T went in to record his lines (which was a little while before becoming known for his part on SVU), Kevin Conroy expressed surprise that a rapper wanted to voice act. Ice-T responded by saying that he had heard from everybody how much fun it was and wanted a try.
