Plot[]
Gotham News reports; "Batgirl Helps Villains in Prison Break!", "Commissioner Declares Batgirl Public Enemy #1", "City Task Force to Hunt Out Costumed Villains". Snow falls over Gotham City. On a roof, Detective Renee Montoya bemoans the weather as she stares through her binoculars. Her accompanying officer speaks up, noting that costumed crime has plummeted since the task force has started up. Unsure of the programs actual success, Renee retorts that diverting resources to this front has allowed for a spike in "normal" crime.
Just then, Catwoman drops into Renee's view on the rooftop of the jewelry exchange. Renee calls in a the target, only to be shocked that the task force has gone as far as setting explosives to kill the criminal. Watching the explosive from afar, the detonation charge is powerful enough to knock Renee from her feet. On the other side of Montoya's walkie talkie, "and in the struggle, Catwoman loses her life. Film at 11." However, the villainous vixen stands over the unconscious detective and declares she still has 8 lives remaining.
Almost as if in response, another voice comes in over the comm device saying they've spotted Catwoman in the south alley. Immediately, she leaps from the roof to the ground below, but is met by an incoming squad car. In a backflip, Selina leaps on top of the car and launches over it. Regaining her balance, she runs down the alley, launches herself off a nearby dumpster, and flips into the back of a nearby truck, closing the rear door as she lands. With Catwoman now inside, a mysterious figure approaches the vehicle and locks the door, trapping her inside. Unable to escape, the truck drives away.
At Eco-Warriors headquarters, Harley tells Ivy that she's scared of the increased police presence, given their recent escalation in violence. Typing away at one of the company's computers, Ivy responds that they can't hide forever, as there's work to be done. Uncovering evidence that the eco-do-good routine was a front, Ivy sends Harley to get a soda and give her some peace. After a sip of her drink, Harley hears a voice from nearby. Turning around in shock, she's met with a net from above.
Back in the office, Ivy removes a disc from the computer, claiming this will put Eco-Warriors out of business. However, the room begins to fill with a mysterious gas. As she begins to cough, a bag is placed on her head by her unknown assailant.
In the back of the truck, Catwoman lurches awake as the door finally opens. To her surprise, she's greeted by Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. Ivy asks Selina who their assailants are, and she mistakenly informs her new company that it's members of Commissioner Gordon's new task force. Harley asks where they're being taken, and Catwoman tells her that she assumes a "one way trip out of town". Suddenly, the car comes to a stop. As the back door opens, the women are stunned to find out that the officer who was with Montoya earlier was Batgirl in disguise.
