Helen Slater (born December 15, 1963 in Bethpage, New York) was the first voice of Talia. Her big screen debut was the main role of Supergirl in the 1984 movie of the same name. She also appeared as Lara-El (Superman's Kryptonian mother) in Smallville and Eliza Danvers (Supergirl's human adoptive mother) in the 2015 series of the same name.
