The Governor was present at the inauguration ceremony for the Transcontinental Railroad.
History[]
The Governor was in charge of placing the final spike of the railroad that would mark the end of the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad. However, during the inauguration ceremony, Ra's al Ghul and his son Arkady Duvall appeared in the Phoenix and destroyed most of the railroad and the town of Devil's Hole. They were eventually stopped by Jonah Hex but the railroad was utterly destroyed.
