Gary Cole (born September 20, 1956 in Park Ridge, Illinois) is a prolific American character and voice actor.

Background information[]
Cole is well known for his roles as Capt. Matthew Gideon in the "Babylon 5" spinoff "Crusade", the banal boss Bill Lumbergh in Office Space, and Vice President Bob Russell in "The West Wing". Carter wasn't the first astronaut played by Cole. He portrayed Edgar Mitchell in the miniseries "From the Earth to the Moon".
Other voice work includes the title character of Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law, rocket scientist Dr. Jim Possible on Kim Possible, and the cantankerous police officer Sergeant Bosco in Bob's Burgers.
