Background information[]

Usually a much milder and likable character, Fred Savage has been acting in film and television since childhood. Most famously, he played Kevin Arnold, the central character of the hit ABC series "The Wonder Years," also featuring Danica McKellar, Jason Hervey as Kevin's overbearing elder brother, Olivia d'Abo as their older sister Karen, and Dan Lauria as their father. Fred has appeared in "The Princess Bride" (which also starred Cary Elwes) and several other notable films.

Interestingly enough, at the last minute, Fred Savage switched roles against type to Hawk; he was originally hired to play Dove.
