Fort Sherman was a US military installation near Metropolis.
History[]
Fort Sherman was a missile base, and had four silos for rockets powerful enough to wipe out a large city. Bizarro hijacked one missile, and fired it on Metropolis. He thought he was on Krypton, and in order to finish his play, it had to be blown up. Superman managed to deflect the missile.
