DuWayne openly cheated on his girlfriend, Trina. Though Trina was too in love to condemn it, her discussions about it at the Gotham Youth Counseling Center attracted the attention of Payback.
Payback attacked DuWayne and his new girlfriend when they were driving along the highway. His car spun out of control and drove off a cliff, but Batman managed to grab the car with the Batmobile before it fell into the ocean.
