Dr. Stanton was the chief counselor at Gotham Youth Counseling Center.
History[]
Dr. Stanton's dedication to help troubled teens of Gotham led him to ignore his own son, Kenny. This led to Kenny adopting a new guise: that of "Payback". Kenny hoped that by scaring the bullies into better behavior, kids would have less problems and his father would have more time for him. During his attack on Bruce Wayne, Payback was foiled by Batman and was arrested by the police. Dr. Stanton took full responsibility for neglecting his son. Bruce advised him to go to his son.
