Background information[]

  • McKellar is probably best known for her role in her youth as Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years. After the show ended, McKellar graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a degree in mathematics, and even proved a new math theorem, the Chayes-McKellar-Winn Theorem.
  • She is also the author of the books "Math Doesn't Suck: How To Survive Middle School Math Without Losing Your Mind Or Breaking A Nail", "Kiss My Math: Showing Pre-Algebra Who's Boss", "Girls Gets Curves: Geometry Takes Shape", "Hot X: Algebra Exposed" and the children's book "Goodnight, Numbers".
