As part of her plot to find out whether her brother was Static, Sharon Hawkins took Virgil to a game of the Dakota Destroyers. When Virgil and Richie saw that Boom and Mirage were there too, they snuck away. This only strengthened Sharon's suspicions. After Boom and Mirage were caught (and the game ruined), Sharon's theory was shattered when she saw both her brother and Static at the same time.
