This article is about the villain Bloodsport. For the episode of Batman Beyond, see "Bloodsport".

Bloodsport was a criminal who took part in the Meta-Brawl and later joined the Legion of Doom.

History

Bloodsport was a fighter in Roulette's Meta-Brawl. One of his fights was against the Electrocutioner where he was able to hold his own. When Green Arrow and Black Canary tried to end the Meta-Brawl, Bloodsport and the other fighters attempted to fight them but were caught in a net.[1]

Bloodsport later became a member of Grodd's Legion of Doom. He joined Grodd in his attempt to regain his position as leader of the Legion. Bloodsport fought Atomic Skull and with very powerful moves, he gained the upper hand. He was in Luthor's group later, so it seems he switched sides. Bloodsport's fate is unknown but it is presumed that he died in the explosion.

Background Information

The depicted subject bears the likeness of Bloodsport from the DC Comics; however, the DCAU character was never named on-screen, or otherwise. The title of this article is conjecture based on the character's likeness.

In the DC Comics, Bloodsport is Robert Dubois, a man who suffered a breakdown after learning that his brother had fought in the Vietnam War in his place and became a quadruple amputee. Lex Luthor supplies him with an arsenal of weapons and convinces him that Superman is the enemy.
