Black Siren is based on the character, [[Black Canary]], except that she does not appear to have the sonic scream ability. This is consistent with the Golden Age Black Canary, however, and given that the Justice Guild is a thinly disguised Justice Society, not surprising. She also played along with the "perfect housewife" idea of women in their time period, as she seemed to be the cook. She also expected [[Hawkgirl]] to do the same, saying that the two women should leave and "let the men talk".
