Big Barda, real name Barda Free, was a New God from Apokolips who was married to Mr. Miracle, and would later become a member of the JLU.
Her power is super strength.
Barda and Free spend their time on Earth with Free's friend Oberon and on New Genesis among the New Gods, enemies of Apokolips.
While on Earth with Free, Oberon was kidnapped by Granny Goodness. With Free, the two went to the Justice League Unlimited for help. Refused by J’onn Jonzz, Barda was furious but later without authorization, the Flash volunteered to help them.
In the near future, approximately 50 years later, Barda is a full time member on the Justice League Unlimited and retains her boisterous attitude as well as her Mother Box and Mega Rod. The Mega Rod has many applications. So far, Barda has used it as a hand to hand weapon, to fire energy blasts and as transportation.
