Bashari was the military leader and closest friend to Katar Hol of Egypt.
History[]
He was involved in a secret affair with Katar's wife Chay-Ara Hol. He soon died with Chay-Ara Hol by drinking a wine that was poisoned by Hath-Set. Carter Hall believed Bashari was eventually reincarnated as John Stewart, otherwise known as Green Lantern.
