Back-Pack was the robotic invention of Gear meant to aid him and Static against the criminals of Dakota. Its features include a prehensile probing system, a drill, four legs for mobility, and a neural feed link to Gear's helmet to inform Gear of new information. Back-Pack was once possessed by Brainiac and needed to be wiped clean and restored after an encounter with him and the Justice League.
