The Auctioneer was the head of the Gotham Antiquarian Society.
History[]
He was seen selling an antique jewelled egg to Veronica Vreeland who won its bidding. He next started the bidding of an antique clock from the reign of Louis XVI. While the audience members started the bidding, the Clock King arrives, surprising Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson, who were attending the auction. Just before the Auctioneer banged his gavel, the Clock King, using his special super speed device, stole the clock, surprising the Auctioneer and the audience.
